As part of the EDIT (Educational Video Challenge), during the week of September 4 to 9, we had the pleasure of hosting 7 professors and 25 students from the Universities of Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and of Romania. Together with 7 students of the Dept. of Primary Education, University of the Aegean, they attended intensive seminars on script writing and filming, they were divided into 4 groups and started to plan and shoot their own film with a broader theme of “Tourism and the Environment”.
One of the teams offered to film the behind-the-scenes of the whole effort. The ERASMUS+ program included a guided tour of the Medieval City and a one-day excursion to Halki for filming. The groups edited the films they shot and on the last day their official presentation took place at the University premises.
