Our project was presented on 31 March 2026 in the context of the conference “The University of the Aegean as a Bridge of Connection with Europe”.
Project Updates Presented
During the conference the outcomes of the project were presented focusing mainly on the following subjects:
- Observatory of the European STEAME Teacher Academies
The educational resources and function of the online Observatory - STEAME Teacher Facilitators Certification program
The path to certification and the options that the program provides for in-service and student teachers - Mentoring program
The functioning and importance of the mentoring program and the options provided for both in-service teachers and students - Project Outcomes
STEAME Teacher Facilitators Competence Framework, STEAME workshops and training modules, Policy recommendations
The conference was a great opportunity to share ideas and discuss on STEAME education and on the approach of the STEAME Teacher Facilitators Academy on STEAME education and inform teachers and students on the project.
We were delighted to welcome to the conference the Rector and Vice-rector of Academic Affairs of the University of the Aegean, the former Rector of the University, the Dean of the School, the Chairman of the Department of Primary Education and the Chairman of the Department of Pre School Education and Educational Design.
We were also happy to find out the great interest of the participating teachers and students for the project.
