STEAME Academy – Policy Recommendations

We are happy to announce that a major deliverable of the project, the Policy Recommendations has been completed and will be soon publicly available.

Following all the work, research data, feedback, validations and collaborations collected and analyzed throughout the lifecycle of the project a set of policy recommendations for the STEAME Teacher Facilitators Academy have been developped and are ready to be published in the following weeks.

The policy recommendations are aimed at policy makers and present a comprehensive set of policy recommendations designed to guide the development, scaling, and sustainability of STEAME Teacher Academies. These recommendations are grounded in the recognition that traditional educational models—often siloed by discipline, focused on content transmission, and constrained by rigid assessment structures—are no longer sufficient. Instead, education systems must shift towards interdisciplinary, learner-centred, and competency based approaches that reflect real-world complexity.

In that view STEAME Teacher Academies are envisioned not merely as training providers, but as dynamic ecosystems that connect schools, higher education institutions, policymakers, industry, communities, and learners themselves.

The policy recommendations formulated will be published in the outputs section of the project’s website.
